[mythtv-users] Recycled PC as a frontend- disapointment?

When I run lspci I get the following

VGA Compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc 3D Rage IIC AGP (Rev 7a)

My XF86Config-4 file has several references to ATI, but nothing more specific than that.

I tried some google searches on the lspci output, but didn't find anything helpful.

Thanks.

This is critical - you need xv capabilites.
I suspect you are using the wrong X driver.

type:
lspci

and look at the output (VGA line!) you may need to Google to interpret it.
(eg my Radeon 7500 is reported as an RV200 'cos that's the chipset id)
Then see what your X config is using (look in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4)
This is probably a generic X configuration problem.
