Good idea, I'll try this. Is there any way to;

 1) Run nuvexport but leave the recording within MythTV (ie still listed in
database and visible through mythweb)

 2) Scriptable such that is automatically runs after the recording is

Search the mailing list archives or google for "nuvexport". It has a
mpeg2 to mpeg2 cut feature.
