[mythtv-users] using the Buttons "Scan Channels(s)" and "Advanced" ?

In the mythtv-setup -> Channel Editor
i have added a few channels, and i have the following buttons ACTIVATED
"Scan for Channels(s)" and " Advanced"
But the problem is i cant go to these Buttons 
How do i use these buttons.
