Similar to John's observation, my system also fails to mark
any recording as eligible for Auto-Expire. One difference
between the two systems is that mine was built from CVS
as of Saturday, June 11, 2005.

It appears that TV Settings -> General has Enable Auto Expire
checked, but the only way I've actually got a recording marked
is to go into Watch Recordings, select one, press the "i" key,
and then press the Auto Expire bar.

SO, the question- if Enable Auto Expire is checked, shouldn't
recordings be marked that way ? Or maybe there is another
global setting that I have missed.

What are you seeing, regarding Auto-Expire, if you are on 18.1
or later ?

Thanks.
