[mythtv-users] PVR500MCE tuner #1, ivtv: i2c client addr:0x44 not found for command

FYI.  Using the later 3.6 releases and 3.7a I've found that I don't need any
modprobe.conf settings to support the 150s or 500s.

Just:
modprobe tveeprom
modprobe ivtv {I may still have the debug and tuner parms set, can't
remember)

HA! I see it... You have a typo in your options (if the above is
correct) cx25480 != cx25840
