[mythtv-users] IRW not connecting to LIRCD

ok, I

[root at mythtv-server /]# lircd --device /dev/ttyUSB0
[root at mythtv-server /]# service lircd start
Starting infrared remote control daemon:
[root at mythtv-server /]# irw

I am expecting irw to output something when an ir signal is recieved. It
does nothing, just exits to a prompt.
