Someone should write a really nice, easy to follow how-to on this. 
It's not as easy as some people would like to think it is...

Make sure you don't have cx88-atsc loaded.  Only the cx88-dvb module. 
Then, fire up mythtv-setup, and head over to "Capture Cards".  Choose
new, then change card type until you get to DVB.  If you get the
message "Could not open card #-0" then there is a chance that
something is using your card at the moment.  Try to kill any processes
using the card (this includes mythbackend).  Also, I suggest doing
this as root for now to ensure you have proper permissions to access
the card.  If you get the message "pcHDTV HD3000 HDTV" then you are a
go.  Mission is a go, we have lift off....

Anyway, from there on out it gets a bit tricky, but that is probably
by far the hardest part I had.  Once I got to that point, it seems a
fair amount of documentation is there to play with, at least at that
point you can actually watch something from your card inside myth
(which is quite a joy for the first time).
