[mythtv-users] Sound from DVD and Transcoded Recordings Doesn't Work

First let me say thanks to this list and the ivtv list.  Without these
resources I would have never gotten this far.

My MythTV box seems to be working great for watching LiveTV and for watching
LiveTV recordings that haven't been encoded.  I do not however get any sound
if I try to play a DVD, or if I transcode any of the LiveTV recordings to
shrink them down a bit.  I'm using a PVR-350 and have the line out on my
SoundBlaster Audigy plugged into the line in on the PVR-350 but that doesn't
give me anything.  Obviously I've got something wrong here and I'm hoping
someone can straighten me out.  Just not sure where to start...
