[mythtv-users] FC3, HD-3000, PVR-350...HELP!

Thanks for your responces Paul and David. Paul, I've upgraded to the
same 2.6.10-1.741_FC3 kernel and used your trick to be able to compile
the 1.6 pcHDTV drivers but I'm still having no luck at getting both
cards working. With only the PVR-350 in the computer (an ASUS Pundit),
IVTV loads and operates. Once I put the pcHDTV HD-3000 into the
computer IVTV will no longer load without the following errors:

ivtv: i2c client addr: 0x50 not found!
ivtv: Error -19 reading Hauppauge eeprom.
ivtv: Possible causes: the tveeprom module was not loaded, or
ivtv: the eeprom kernel module was loaded before the tveeprom module.

I have done all I can to try to make tveeprom load before cx8800 or
IVTV. My modprobe.conf is as follows:

alias eth0 b44
alias snd-card-0 snd-intel8x0
options snd-card-0 index=0
install snd-intel8x0 /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install snd-intel8x0 && /usr/sbin/$
remove snd-intel8x0 { /usr/sbin/alsactl store >/dev/null 2>&1 || : ; }; /sbin/m$
alias char-major-81 cx8800
alias usb-controller ehci-hcd
alias usb-controller1 ohci-hcd

install cx8802  /sbin/modprobe tveeprom && /sbin/modprobe ivtv && /sbin/modprob$
# instead of cx8802 I also tried cx8800

alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
alias char-major-81-1 cx8800
options ivtv ivtv_debug=1 tuner=2
options msp3400 once=0 simpler=1 simple=0

dmesg shows the following:

The cx88_blackbird and cx8802 stuff showed up after switching to the
2.6.10-1.741_FC3 kernel. No matter which kernel and version of IVTV I
use, if the HD-3000 is in the computer then I get those IVTV errors
related to i2c and tveeprom.

Currently, I'm a total loss of ideas of what to try next.
