I do this, using what I think is the same patch, but the latest MPlayer 
that I actually got to work with this is 0.92. I could not get 1.0 to 
work. I think I kept a copy of the 0.92 source for just this reason.  At 
any rate, I capture mpeg4 with a WinTV Go and have no problems watching 
it using 0.92 with the patch either on Linux or under Cygwin.
