[mythtv-users] Transcode Problem on FC2+atrpms

I've been working on setting up a Myth box with FC2 (kernel 2.6.9
custom) and a PVR-350 with TV out. Several small problems and one big
problem are left. The big one is that DVD ripping just plain doesn't
work and the fix is certainly not obvious to me.

Playing DVDs works fine. I didn't bother with mplayer, because I
already had xine installed on the box, and I knew it worked. Putting
the command "xine --auto-play=f --auto-scan dvd" into Myth gives
full-screen playback with menus and a working remote. So, I know the
drive is working fine and /dev/dvd is pointing to the right place.

There's something messed up with either transcode or mplayer or the
supporting files. From both mplayer and transcode I get the errors

> Playing dvd://3.
> libdvdread: Using libdvdcss version 1.2.8 for DVD access
> libdvdread: Could not open /dev/dvd with libdvdcss.
> libdvdread: Can't open /dev/dvd for reading
> Couldn't open DVD device: /dev/dvd

This is with the atrpms install of myth-suite.
