[mythtv-users] ATSC (HDTV) mandated PID changes

I saw this change mentioned over at avsforum, but tracked down the
source to here: http://www.atsc.org/pid_changeinfo.html

Basically, what it means to pcHDTV MythTV users is that your stations
will likely all be renumbering their programs, if they have not done so
already. The requirement is to avoid TS PIDs below 0x30, which in
practical terms means not using program numbers 1 and 2.

If you're running CVS, you're good to go. Myth has been changed to use
the subchannel number rather than the program number; one reason for
that change was precisely situations like this. I don't know what will
happen if the change happens in the middle of a recording, though.

If you're running a released version of Myth, you will need to
re-determine your channels' program numbers and update their freqid
field in the database (the part after the dash).
