No problem, the main thing i've done is throwing the nvidia aside and  
plugging in my ati card again ;-) I'm using a SVideo cable. Maybe  
i'll try a VGA-Scart cable in the future. The best settings i've  
reached with my nvidia card where the following:

The most important settings in mythtv (from memory, so i'm not a 100%  
sure)
Deinterlace: Bob
Filters: crop(remove a flickering line),adjust(picture was way too  
white)
Recording profiles: width=756, height=576
