Where do you get these messages? From the output below I'd say that once
the remux using mplex failed there's no chance of getting a usable
result.

Since DVD creation needs quite a lot of space, I wouldn't rule out a
full disk - how much free space do you have on the partition where
/home/mythtv/DVD/temp/ is located?
