[mythtv-users] NOVA-T Hauppauge testing to see if my card is working

Couldn't work out how to respond to a digest, so I've changed my settings, and 
replied this way....

Well,. I don't have /MAKEDEV  inside /dev or elseware, what's why I am 
convinced that my system is useing /udev...

I do have this installed and lt have the correct perms and settings

I am using 2.6.8.1-12 on a madrake 10.1 system

If I do that all I get in dmesg is...

saa7146: register extension 'budget_ci dvb'

Nothing else happens

I have had a look at that, looks ok, but I am trying to do this with the 
installed kernel and installing the modules that exist, it should be 
possible...
