Fair enough however it's a basic courtesy to say something about this 
on the homepage, perhaps "I aim to produce packages within a day of 
application releases" or "I have other responsibilities and it may take 
weeks for package updates to appear". I'm able to build my own debs but 
I won't bother if the maintainer is hours away from releasing better 
ones. Despite this I do appreciate Matt's efforts.

To the original poster: the reason game and phone debs are missing is 
Matt hasn't gotten around to packaging them. If you're able to come up 
with a package patch to include those plugins then he asks that you 
post the patch to the mythtv-dev list and prepend the subject with 
"[DEBIAN PATCH]".
