Possibly not relevant to FC3, but I had a similar problem on debian
sarge.  I found that ivtv had installed its modules in
/lib/modules/<kernel>/extra resulting in a collision with two modules
included in the stock 2.6 kernel: msp3400.ko and tuner.ko.  I moved
the stock versions out of the way and things have worked fine since
then.
