Upgrade to the latest 0.2 ivtv and kernel 2.6.12. the dvb drivers for the
hd3000 are in the kernel so make sure you configure the modules for it. The
pchdtv forums have what modules you need. Then compile the ivtv drivers
against the kernel.. there is no magic modprobe. They both just work for me.
And for reference I load the ivtv driver first.
