[mythtv-users] Firewire + SBLive SPDIF = Stuttering

Hey Everyone, especially you Jarod...

My first Mythtv-users post, and my first MythTV box.

Box:
AMD XP 2400+
1gig ram/50gig hds
FC3
SBLive Plat (with the Live Drive IR) plugged into a 5.1 decoder via
SBDIF coax or optical
Geforce 4 Ti4200
27" SDTV via SVid
motorola 6200 connected to PC via firewire

Setup the box as per Jerod's guide, and got TV and audio to work using
standard /dev/dsp output. Took a bit of reading and the usual trial
and error to figure out ALSA, but essentially I copied Jarod's
.asoundrc file, dropped 'ALSA:spdif' into mythfrontend, and...

Well I get audio, but either everyone sounds like chipmunks, or I get
stuttering or both.

.asoundrc is just the one Jarod uses

I've worked with Linux as a user, but still have a very weak grasp of
system admin/setup, so please go easy on me, I'm sure I forgot to put
something down, hopefully this is something simple.
