I had similar problems trying to install nvidia-graphics6629 &
nvidia-graphics7167. I couldn't find the older kernels with apt-get
(kernel 2.6.9-1.11 & 2.6.8-1.521_11) .

I finally ran "apt-get update", then "apt-get install
nvidia-graphics6629". apt-get resovled the dependencies & offered me
the chance to download the 2.6.10-1.770_FC2 kernel & the driver & the
kmdl,etc...

Wierd & not in Jarod's instructions, but it is working.

What are the benefits of nvidia-graphics7174? Oh, I see in google:
"7174 mythtv"

I suffered serious pain doing this (dependency hell), but was successful
in the end. I learned not to use up2date. yum is preferred (google:
fc2 upgrade). I have since reverted to FC2, but that is because I like
even more pain... If you upgrade to fc3, don't then run yum remove
fedora-release-3-8*. This completely hosed my system (I.e., deleted
core userland unix tools in /bin /sbin/. 6 hours later I had my mythbox
back online after reinstalling FC2 & downloading all the stuff to make
myth work again. Argh, I need to start dumping (backing up) my mythbox.
