It tends to depend on the state of the tuner, if you've already tuned
to something then it "seems" to remember the previous set of values
(purely empirical observation, not mythtv related)

The only thing I can suggest is filling in all the tuning parameters.
Bandwidth and inversion are the more important ones. I'll check into
this tonight when I get home to make sure there isn't anything more
fundamental broken. ( TBH I can't think what I changed in this area
for 0.18, but then again I can't remember what I did last week
sometimes :) )
