[mythtv-users] TV-Out signal uneven

I have connected my nVidia FX 5500 to my TV (standard) with an S-Video
cable connected to a scart adapter.

The picture on the TV is sometimes uneven, especially in the edges. A dark
spot in a light picture will cause rough edges. If I decrease the
brightness on my TV, it gets better.

I took a couple of pictures:

Notice the horizontical lines on the second picture.


The problems occurs on both TVs I've tested on (one of them is pretty new).
However, the problem doesn't occur on any of the TVs when using another
computer (with a Radeon 9600 pro, windows xp, s-video to composite to
scart).

Does anyone know how to fix this?
