[mythtv-users] Problem with Playback.

Hi Everyone
 
I have recently upgraded my box to 0.17 and the 2.6 kernel. I must say
that I have been very impressed with the stability of my box after the
upgrade. (before it would lock up once a night and need a reset).
 
 
However I'm experiencing an (annoying) issue where whilst watching a
recording, playback suddenly starts to move forward at high speed, and
the audio (if any that isn't static) is out of sync.

This happens in both Myth and Mplayer, with both Mpeg-2 and Mpeg-4
encoded videos.

It doesn't seem to affect transcoding.

Skipping forward and backward with the remote seems to clear the
problem.

I have recompiled both Myth and Mplayer.

Has anyone else seen this?  Is there any codecs/drivers that I should
look at getting the latest version of?
