[mythtv-users] Daylight savings (again)

I've seen the threads:

I also have one hour off schedule data starting this weekend. The
pattern I see for my data is weird: everything that ENDS less than
midnight on Saturday is correct. Anything that ends greater than or
equal to midnight is off by one hour for BOTH its start and end. As an
example, Law & Order on NBC ends at 11PM, and myth reports it ending at
11. But MadTV (that ends at midnight) is listed as starting at 10 and
ending at 11 (and tromps over the real listings from 10 to 11).

I'm reading a lot of different theories in those two threads about what
settings are needed where. Some settings I have are:

I live in Eastern Time

In Myth, TimeOffset = None

date -R = Fri, 01 Apr 2005 09:23:15 -0500

my /etc/localtime is a file, not a pointer. My machine is setup as
Eastern Time though.

I'm running RH9

Myth 0.17

I'm not getting a clear answer from those threads. Some people are
setting their timezone to ULT/GMT, and others seem to be saying that is
wrong. What do I need to do to fix my settings?
