[mythtv-users] Found vidcard, now won't play

 	I've mentioned my Xv/interlace woes (with r128 on R128, and nv|nvidia
on a TNT2) on a different thread, but it appears that a Mach64 with the 'ati'
driver doesn't exhibit the interlace bug. Now I've got a new problem. I can
play MPEG's using XV with mplayer just fine. When I try to play them with
mythfrontend (either recorded or livetv), I get this on stdout:

[mythtv at localhost mythtv]$ mythfrontend

Just black screen and the "waiting for free video buffers timed out"
about every 5 sec. It does it when I disable the "extmod" in the xorg (which
disables Xv). It didn't do it with the r128 or the tnt2 (but then I had the
interlace bug). It locks up the frontend so ESC won't kill it either.

Thoughts on my new and improved problem? :)
