To take advantage of MythTVs features, it has to buffer Live TV. If you 
want to rewind and catch something, or pause/ff, there has to be 
something buffered in memory for Myth, or any other PVR software that 
allows for this sort of thing.  If she just wants to watch TV thru her 
PC and not have any PVR software, if shes on windows, you can get 
Happauges WinTV program from their website.
