[mythtv-users] Verifying colour depth

I know this is not totally appropriate for a myth mailing list, but you are
all such nice people ;)
 

How can I verify that I am running Myth TV playback in 32 bit? I think
things are being displayed in 16 bit (gradient colours are pixelating at
times quite badly) but I am not sure. I'm not sure if this is due to my X
setup or my Myth setup...Any way of finding out?
