I have some logs, but they aren't very detailed, and no indication of what the 
error might be. I do see that quite a few people have been downloading those 
files though! :-)

You might try wget instead of lynx. I've fetched them from my web server to my 
machine at work using wget w/o a problem (over an equally fast connection).
