[mythtv-users] Please help me to get my remote conrol working

Try running the command "mode2" and then press some buttons on your
remote. If this doesn't work then something isn't loaded right or
maybe you need a different driver.

If it is really driving you insane, you may want to look at building a
serial IR reciever. The hardest part to find is the IR reciever but I
got mine from http://www.newark.com/ The rest of the parts that they
didn't have I picked up from radio shack. The plans for the schematics
are here: http://www.lirc.org/ I'd recommend the serial version.

but try mode2 first. I would also try a few different remotes as well.
It could be that lirc doesn't like the signal. (I dunno, it's worth a
shot though)
