not sure for the model, but my parents tv (which is a philips) turns on
automagicallly and switches to a/v when they turn on their sat-receiver.
it is connected via scart, not shvs,though. i think there is a simple signal
(like +5v) on a scart connector to let the tv turn on. you may google for it.
