[mythtv-users] Deleting Recordings does not release Disk Space

I've been running a remote frontend since day 1 and have never used NFS
to mount my recordings. I've also never had this problem deleting 
recordings.
What's the point of having the backend if you have to mount the 
recordings with
NFS?
