When the rumors about mythical ;) performance in commercial flagging
with fine-optimizing came up I rescheduled all builds for i686 and
athlon. Using apt you should have the matching arch anyway now.
rpm -q --qf '%{name} %{arch}\n' mythtv
So anyone can try to benchmark the different builds. I would already
be surprised if you would gain more than 5% better performance though
...

Is it possible to have a kernel module out of this or a patch for v4l
