[mythtv-users] MPEG2 to MPEG2 commercial cutting?

I remember back in the .15 days that there was some talk about adding the
ability to cut commercials with a mpeg2-->mpeg2 transcode. Did that ability
ever make it into this release?  If so, what settings should I use? I only
want to remove commercials, not reduce the quality/size of the file. I watch
tv on a hdtv monitor so the loss in quality of mpeg4 files is painfully
obvious.
