that's somewhat true.. the pvr-350 will play dvd's but not thru the 
mpeg2 hardware decoder.. it will play dvd/mpeg4/whatever thru the 
framebuffer of the device using the fbdev driver only.

the only thing it can't do is play video games or obviously accelerate 
opengl/3d
