Sorry for the double; I also wanted to add that ll /dev/video* lists only crw------- 1 mythtv root 81, 224 Nov 29 21:06 /dev/video224 I have both the PVR350 as well as my onboard Video... not sure if this matters... (I guess I should also add at this point that I'm pretty much a linux noob... :-D) Thanks again, Mark
