[mythtv-users] nvidia driver issue with custom kernel

I am installing MythTV on Fedora 2 and following Jared's guide. I think
I need the serial port to be a module in order for my homebrew ir
receiver to work (or so I read somewhere), so I downloaded the source
for one of Axel's kernels and I rebuilt the kernel rpm. My new kernel
is named 2.6.8-1.521_11.custom.at and loads and works fine, but the
nvidia drivers are not working with this kernel (I assume due to the
name of the kernel and location of files). They work fine with Axel's
stock kernel. So my question is...how do you configure a custom kernel
rpm without breaking all of the associated driver packages? Do I need
to rename my kernel? Would copying the driver files to the correct new
kernel locations work? Do I need to rebuild all the nvidia drivers to
work with my custom kernel?

TIA,

Brad
