Sorry! I just stuck them in, and I was good. I guess rc.local was running,
just that MYKERNEL doesn't stick around.

Subject: [mythtv-users] A *really* dumb question...
I got my video working - I used the driver provided from
http://membres.lycos.fr/badzzzz/ (thanks, by the way!).
I can manually start X and I get the display on the screen. The borders are
trimmed off, but I suspect that's because the xorg.conf file specifies
720x480 and I'm using the RCA output. I'm not going to worry about it until
I get Myth working and it remains a problem.
I am concerned that I cannot boot into the X login like Jarod suggests we
should be able to (per FC2 version of
http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php). If I log in and manually do depmod
-a, modprobe ivtv, modprobe ivtv_fb, and then use startx, I'm there.
I can stick these into my rc.local script - but it doesn't seem to run at
boot time. Any ideas why??
(There are a few commands that I need to run manually since they don't -
including the suggested MYKERNEL environment variable.)
Thanks!
-Rob
