I noticed that the bttv modules (more precisely: bttv, video_buf,
v4l2_common, btcx_risc) get loaded automatically altough there is no
bttv based in the system! Maybe mythtv loads the wrong drivers?

I don't understand much of udev, but maybe this can help you: it seems
that the symlink /dev/video -> /dev/video0 is created by the rule
KERNEL="video0", SYMLINK="video"
in /etc/udev/rules.d/50-udev.rules. If I had to guess, I would make the
lirc rpms add a line
KERNEL="lirc0", SYMLINK="lirc"
to /etc/udev/rules.d/50-udev.rules on install and remove it on
uninstall. But I'm not sure if this is the way it is intended by the
udev developers; this rules.d directory makes me suppose that we should
add an extra file XX-lirc.rules where XX is an appropriate number.

After upgrading, it works now. Thanks!
Best,
