David -

I've been doing the same thing. Started with FC3 but moved back to FC2.
Did you have any issues with capturing sound? I still don't get sound, and
I cannot figure it out.

Thanks!

Subject: [mythtv-users] Guide too big / fonts too small

Hey,

Just started using MythTV/Linux following Jarod's guide on a fresh
Fedora Core 2 install. I have a brand new PVR350 card and the list
archives have helped me with many issues related to the new 350's (like
the new remotes not working, screen appearing in all green, etc..).

Anyways, I've adjusted my mythfrontend appearance settings to get the
GUI to fit right, but the program guide and such during live TV don't
seem to have these settings applied. Worse, when I go back into the
GUI after using the program guide, my offsets seem to get changed
slightly. Restarting the frontend puts them back.

How do I configure the size of stuff during live TV? Also, why are the
fonts in the program guide so unimaginably small? It's totally
illegible, where as the GUI stuff is crystal clear.

I'm very new to this xorg.conf stuff, I've never really used Linux
before - I come from a Solaris background. I'm using 640x480 mode in
the monitor/screen section settings, and I've set DisplaySize 160 120
under monitor section per some suggestions I google'd.

Thanks!
