Thanks for the suggestions.  I ran some more test captures and found:
(clips captured for 5 minutes and extrapolated to 60 min)

- Video Width = 640
- Video Height = 480
- Video Bitrate = 3000
- Video Max Bitrate = 4500
- Audio Bitrate = 128 kbps

- Resulting .nuv movie file = 1.515264 gig

In an earlier test I found virtually no difference in the file size when
varying the video width (320 vs 480 vs 640).  Does that make any sense?
