Well, it's been noted that transcode and the MPEG2-PES that is output from Myth
for DVB recordings aren't happy together.  Now that there is a new version of
transcode out (0.6.14), and there seems to be ongoing work on the project, 
maybe we can try to get things worked out in transcode.

The other option is to demultiplex the MPEG2-PES file and remultiplex into
MPEG2-PS, and transcode will like it just fine (be sure to adjust the AV
offset).

It also may just be an issue in Myth itself in how it is creating the MPEG2-PES
files.  I'm not clear on where the problem actually is, but there is a problem
for sure.  There seem to be similar issues with avidemux.
