I know in the end I'll probably have to build mplayer from source with the
various patches for the 350, but I'm having two issues which I think are
independent of that I hope someone can assist me with. All my googling
has come up fruitless....
I'm having some trouble with mplayer with the tvout on my pvr-350. I just
finished installing KnoppMyth and myth itself works fantastic!
For video player back I've tweeked the settings for mplayer to be:
mplayer -fs -zoom -quiet -vo fbdev -fb /dev/fb1 %s
So now my files (ie. the avi I tested with) plays on the screen. However,
two problems. I don't seem to have any keyboard control. I actually have
to switch to a terminal window on the monitor I still have hooked to the
machine and do a kill on the mplayer process.
The other problem is it's not really zooming. It's only taking up about
1/4 of the screen right in the centre.
After looking around here and on google I can't find any references to
this. Anyone know how to both get it to zoom and why I have no keyboard
control?
Thanks.
