[mythtv-users] Solved: FC3 and lirc

I had problems with lirc on my freshly installed FC3. I would get either a 
"Connection refused" or else no output at all. I've investigated this a bit 
and finally figured it out.

The /dev entries are a bit off, just create /etc/udev/rules.d/lirc.rules and 
in it write:
KERNEL="lirc0", NAME="lircd"

reboot and you should be all set. Check out the FAQ in lirc home page for 
more info (though in their case they set lirc[0-9] and set it to lircd/%n )
