i've downloaded, compiled and installed lirc-0.7.0pre8, i have the
hauppauge lircd.conf in the /etc directory.

i've got the lirc_dev and lirc_i2c modules loaded, and even tho'v i've
compiled withthe haupauge driver option its not showing it (altho i
suspect this is correct). i also seem to have teh requisite stuff in
/dev.

having a look in the sslog also showsit has found the card remote.

if i run irw to try and see the ir reciever working i get nothing,
however if i do an strace on the lircd process i see it capturing the
IR commands from the remote.

so, i know it works, or atleast is receiving the signal, but it doesnt
seem to be handing it off to anything!

does anyone have any ideas about this?
