I got a chance to play with a BenQ 20" LCD TV tonight on my MythTV box.
It has a standard VGA input and supports a true 800x600 (SVGA)
resolution.

I entered the proper information into my /etc/X11/xorg.conf and away we
go...  picture quality is very good (although black isn't quite black;
the age old LCD display/projector problem).  No issues with the quality
of TV out on the video card and/or PVR350.

This is a really neat solution for those who can use it.  It's slightly
pricey (this set retails over $1000 Canadian) but oh so pretty.
