I have ice1712 (envy24). I get the same results with 1.0.5a and 1.0.7
. Here's how I tested.
1. rebuild kernel w/o ALSA
2. build new alsa version
3. rebuild mythtv
4. reboot
5. test
I feel like I might be missing something simple, like could the Mixer
Device name be something besides "default"?
