Ok, bad form to reply to your own postings, but I just wanted to share.  
I figured out how to program my own JVC_RAW lircd.conf files for any 
Dish Network remote address code.  I've got #1 and #9 working right now, 
and can easily add #6.   It should be possible to produce a lircd.conf 
file that would change up to 16 Dish network boxes independently with a 
single lirc instance.  This will allow you to use a separate script for 
each box in Myth, and simplify things greatly from the current multiple 
lirc instances that have been posted in the past.  The homebrew 
transmitter will control this from a single serial port with multiple 
parallel led's.  It's late and I have to work tomorrow, so I'll try and 
draft a howto tomorrow on how to do this.  It's actually pretty easy.
