Yup.  I'm using Mandrake Cooker myself, and have seen many posts from
Debian and Gentoo users also.  None of the distros seem to have a lock
on ease of use, or problems.  Seems more to be an issue with how
familiar the person setting up the system is with the distribution they
choose - and debugging its particular way of handling application and
dependency issues.
