[mythtv-users] PVR250 device muted every time I switch to watch tv

I just upgraded from Myth 0.5 to 0.6. At the same
time I upgraded my kernel build from 2.4.22-1.2197.nptl_51.rhfc1.at
to 2.4.22-1.2199.nptl_52.rhfc1.at

I have an M179 and a PVR250 installed.

This may be an ivtv problem, I'm not sure.

Everything is fine except that when I use the PVR250
card it is switched to mute=1 in ivtvctl. If I use
ivtvctl -y mute=0 the volume comes back. However this setting
only lasts while I'm using the card.

Interestingly, when I go to watch tv, it resets the mute
flag. After clearing the flag with ivtvctl I recorded a
few minutes of a show. That show had sound. I stopped that
recording and started another. The 2nd show did not.
