[mythtv-users] Smoothness problems

I am having big trouble with prebuffering pauses.

My box is only 1ghz with an ATI TV Wonder so I figure I just had the
recording profile settings turned up to high.  After much screwing
around I had no success so I tried to turn all the settings as low as
they would go to see if prebuffering pauses would go away.  They did
not.  I also have tried useing nice to set a higher priority and that
did not work either.  I welcome any other suggestions.

Btw, this is on Debian Sid.
